Hello Lovelies! Over the weekend we had another fabulous book club meeting to discuss our latest read, The Geography of Bliss. Interesting read but the party was more “blissful” than the book if you ask me! Our host asked us each to bring a dish that brings us bliss, ergo we had tons of great food! My contribution was my favorite macarons but this time after they cooled I painted the shells. How do you paint macarons? Glad you asked!
Gel food coloring of your choice
Utensil: Paint brush reserved for food
Poor a little of each gel color in separate small bowls (or you can buy a tiny painter’s palette just for the kitchen). Next, add a bit of almond extract to thin out the gel and make it look more like watercolor. Then paint whatever you would like on the macarons or just paint random lines like I did ;). The more color the better in my book.
Enjoy your “blissful” macarons :)!
