Hello Lovelies! Does anyone else have one of those trips that you just kept meaning to take? Round Top Antiques week has been one of those trips for me. It is a massive antiques show that is miles long and it happens twice a year. Tiny Round Top, TX, population 78 has several antique stores year round. Rumor has it even Chip and Joanna hit up this area for fab vintage finds. It is only during the bi-annual show that all the vendors come out, you’ll see people who came to set up shop from all over the country at this show. The tiny town is completely over run during this monstrous event. Check out the pictures to give you a better idea of the range of booths.
I love the cow sculptures! Note the awesome cactus behind the cow… #OnlyInTexas
If you had $14,000 then this super cute trailer could have been your to take home or on a quirky adventure 😉
This vendor told me how she brought the chandeliers back from France and rewired them to work in American outlets. Gorgeous work!
Can I have that coach?
Endless miles to walk along, full of killer vintage finds!
There were also some imports from Mexico at booths like the one my sister is at above. Mom on the other hand was ready to offer the neighbor a bid for the sign on their house. I mean that “home” sign is truly amazing..
For lunch it was the Cousin’s Lobster Truck that was in town for the weekend… Because lobster..
Need fashion sketches for the fashionista in your life.. they have them..
Need custom over sized original artwork… they have it.
Stuffed buffalo head, check.
Bring a list because clearly without one I was more than a little distracted and honestly overwhelmed. There are some killer finds there just come ready and maybe bring a U-haul. Seriously, there are some amazing antique furniture pieces. Make sure to go on the last Saturday of the week because vendors are much more likely to negotiate and some booths run a discount on everything to avoid having to pack it back up.
Happy Shopping Lovelies!
