Hello Lovely! At the end of the day, after work, after sitting all day, my energy is drained and working out has become more of a struggle than it ever has before. When I don’t work out, I don’t’ eat as well either. I can be a little ‘all or nothing’ about these things. When I’ve done a good hour of cardio and burnt 500 calories, I’m very aware of how those additional calories are “spent” if you will.
When I first started my current role at work, I used the regular hours to create a nice morning routine with the P90X DVDs, needless to say that burnt out after a few months. Since the P90X days its been an on and off change of trendy workouts. Pop fitness is in, sure lets get those DVDs…. Barre, that sounds cool, as she adds to her Amazon shopping cart. I’m a bit of a trend work out junkie, I try it for a bit, get burnt out, and then I don’t’ work out for like a month. Again, it’s all or nothing around here.
I finally think I’ve found my workout solution and I had to share it with you guys! Has anybody tried FitnessGlo.com? Ok so I have recently started but so far I’m completely obsessed with this one! It is a online subscription for work out classes you can do at home plus there is everything from Barre to Tabita, and all with three different levels available. There are 8 different instructors who are all adding new classes regularly. You can stack their classes into a playlist incase today your wanting a 30 minute cardio but still want 10 minutes of core. When I used to buy those DVDs with several short workouts, I would always think, “great I can customize my workout for the week”. After the first 15 minute glute workout, I’m not about to go back to the menu and choose something else but with Fitness Glo it automatically plays. I’m not that out of shape but the 30 minute Barre workout with weights I did yesterday had me pouring sweat. If you only have time for a short workout, want to make it count, and you desperately need something about the workout to look forward to, this is a great option. Plus it’s only $12 a month so you won’t feel obligated to only do workout from their site, but you still may want to. I’m actually excited to get up and try my new workouts this week. Let me know what you think and please share if you have any favorite workouts on the site (there are so many to choose from its crazy)!
Enjoy your workout (seriously)!
