Hello Lovely! There is nothing more festive for a holiday or even a dinner party, than a themed mocktail. I wanted to create a fun mocktail with all the prettiest spring colors for this week. When I was thinking through favor combinations I landed on a favorite childhood snack. Does anybody else remember the Schwan’s man coming by your house? When I was little I remember it as the best day because my mom would always buy orange creamsicles.
As a play on this memory, I went to the store looking for some fruity sodas in spring colors. Fanta was practically jumping off the shelf at me; strawberry soda, pineapple soda, and grape soda all made their way to my shopping cart. What better to pair with soda than Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. I’m almost embarrassed to tell you this is that simple of a recipe, but hey this is the type of recipe to have in your back pocket when you have unexpected guests. Just keep a pint of vanilla in the freezer and your favorite soda flavor in the pantry. You can whip up some fruity coke floats and people will think you made a fancy Italian soda themed for their visit. I’ll keep your secret.
Fruit & Creme Mocktail
1 Bottle of your favorite Fanta flavor
1 Heaping vanilla tablespoon
Add the scoop of ice cream to your favorite glass, I recommend clear glass to show the pretty ombre this mixture makes (mine are Irish Cream glasses). Then fill the rest of the glass with soda. Enjoy!
Serve these at your next Spring get together and you’ll be the hostess with the mostess! They’ll never know your simple secret!
