Hello Lovely! I’m not sure about you but I am so ready for everything Christmas! Not that I have anything done to prepare, gift lists, decor, etc… In fact I just took down my Halloween decor today but don’t worry I didn’t have any Halloween specific outdoor decor.
Anyway this post should be a good start, a gift list inspired by my baby sister. Kaylie is a true free spirit obsessed with music festivals and constantly looking for an excuse to fly out to California to visit her boyfriend. Her style is often flowy, midriff baring, and complete with air-dried wavy hair. My gift list for her is ever hippie-chic but trust me there is something for nearly every women mixed in.
Who wouldn’t want this iPhone Case, I think you could catch a case of Wanderlust just from carrying it. Estes Park anyone??
The perfect oversized tote in a spot on seasonal color to carry everything she needs for her day or a weekend away.
I think this is the perfect dress cut for the modern free spirit. The triangle cut still gives slight structure while still having a nice flow. I also like a balance, this cut covers you up top while really featuring your legs, perfect for a killer pair of heels. Plus if you haven’t already bought a velvet piece for the season jump on it, it’s the must have fabric this year especially for the holidays coming up!
7. Flat Brim Hat–
I love Madewell’s hats! This is the perfect addition to denim skinnies or a casual chic dress. Plus does the cut on these this year remind anyone else of Duckie?
I don’t think I saw anything else that looked as much like my sister as this sweater does during all my research (aka shopping) for this post. The soft blush color reminiscent of the Pantone color of the year and the modern cropped cut makes it the perfect addition to a free spirited closet for the year. Plus if you haven’t shopped at Madewell before, there clothing really is made well. I think my flannel from here gets softer the more I wash it!
Next up will be my sister, Lynleigh- The Hipster! Stay tuned for that gift list but I hope you have at least a few new ideas for the free spirit in your life.
